Hacienda Classical brings the acclaimed production and new set for 2018 to Happy Days Festival, headlining the event’s dance orientated Sunday which also sees classic dance vocalists Robin S, Barbara Tucker, Byron Stingily, Alison Limerick and Sandy B complete the line up.
As part of the second wave of dates to be announced for 2018, Hacienda Classical with Manchester Camerata, the city’s experimental orchestra, is set to perform its new set and soundtrack for this year at Happy Days Festival in Esher Surrey on Sunday 27th May.
This is the eigth year of Happy Days, an independently owned boutique festival which has grown organically over the years to become one of Surrey’s main events of the year. Meanwhile the preceding day, the Saturday has more soulful leanings as Gloria Gaynor headlines with Al McKay’s Earth Wind & Fire, Cameo and Kid Creole & The Coconuts all performing live.
All of this year’s events for Hacienda Classical will feature its third new set which is currently being prepared by DJ’s Graeme Park and Mike Pickering alongside executive producer Peter Hook musical director Tim Crooks. This version will once again see many new classic tracks added to the repertoire for the Hacienda Classical players and special guests.
